I would like to begin by saying that I am not new to blogging, but it has been a while. My first blogging adventure began when I got the brilliant idea of doing P90X...and failed. Blog #2 followed my kitchen adventures and chronicled my baked goods. Since I have no time to really bake as much as I used to, that blog sadly dwindled as well. Now, I have officially begun my third attempt at blogging.
I put a lot of thought into what I would call blog #3. I consulted with my boyfriend and the first question he asked was "well, what is your blog going to be about?" My initial response was simply, "uh, I dunno....stuff?" He gallantly suggested, "okay, that's easy, just call it stuff." I didn't go with his advice. Instead I dove deeper and considered what my main purpose for beginning another blog was. I landed on the decision that I want this mysterious blog #3 to be my pathway to self discovery. If I had to define myself using 3 words (which many interviewers feel is a good question to ask...heads up, it's not) I do not think that I would be able to confidently answer that question. I want to be able to answer that question!
I chose to entitle it "Cassierole" because 1) my name is Cassie 2) I love to cook, and 3) I imagine this blog will end up not unlike a casserole being that it will be about whatever I feel like blogging about and throwing it into this pot we call cyberspace. I am hoping that I will be able to look back on my posts in the future and possibly come to a conclusion about how I might define myself.
